Siennax offers you Microsoft SQL ServerT 2000 on the basis of a Microsoft Clustering Service (MSCS) failover cluster.

The service is provided in the form of databases within the SQL Server 2000 platform. This platform was set up to facilitate many clients with large databases, and can be extended to include additional servers if required. At your request, Siennax can also install a single dedicated MS SQL Server database server, or even an entire cluster.

The database server cluster is accessed by the various applications on the platform. The Siennax SQL Server 2000 servers are contained in a separate network segment, behind internal firewalls. This way of regulating network access guarantees solely authorised access to the databases via the application servers. The servers in the database segment have their own management, backup and storage policies. The capacity available on the database servers is constantly monitored and further processor or storage capacity is added if required. The databases are stored on a storage attached network (SAN) with extremely high storage capacity and access rate.

The infrastructure and software required to link the SQL Server 2000 databases with a BEA WebLogic or Microsoft .Net environment, for example, is also available.
